Performed at a Unique Venue for Birthday Parties
A truly unique venue to hold your child's birthday party in Singapore must be Kaboodle Kids. This indoor playground in Singapore is located at Big Splash, East Coast Parkway and is open daily (it is also open on most public holidays). Since last year, I have performed twice at parties held at this venue.
Kaboodle Kids seems more like a "play studio" once you enter the premises. The colour scheme on the walls draws your eye to where it matters most - the interior. Beyond the entrance lobby is the play area that has a wood-tiled floor, which might lead one to draw comparisons to dance or art studios. Instead of floor-to-ceiling mirrors, like those in dance studios, is an entire wall of glass panels that provides visitors a refreshing view of the East Coast Park beach; natural sunlight floods the entire play area in Kaboodle Kids.
In the play area, children and adults play with the amazing "big blue blocks". These large high-density foam blocks come in an astonishing variety of shapes; they were designed by well-known architect David Rockwell for multi-dimensional interactive open-ended play. It's actually possible for children to build their own playgrounds using these large blocks.
